Wash

Advanced Cleaning

The Wash Process

All advanced washing is done on site at our business location, in Albuquerque, NM and follows NFPA 1851 Section 7 guidelines. We are very detail oriented and cautious when it comes to the washing process. We understand the reasons why all bunker gear must be washed in a certain way. Below you can view some of the particulars we must always implement, to prevent harm to the bunker gear.

Washing Machines

Extractors do not exceed 100 g-force to avoid damage to the garment and moisture barrier.

Detergent

Since, we follow NFPA 1851, a PH factor 6.5 and 10.5 is maintained. This is strictly regulated to avoid damage to the garment and moisture barrier.

Temperature

Water temperature is maintained at 105 degrees Fahrenheit, 40 degrees Celsius.

Drying

It has been shown that machine drying can cause damage to some components of the bunker gear. Instead of relying on harmful machine heat, we always hang dry all of your garments. Hang drying allows for the bunker gear to fully dry without harsh rotation and makes your bunker gear last longer.
